JavaScript Job: Solution Architekt - Engineer (m-f-d)

For our client within the aviation industry we are currently looking for an experienced, passionate and hands-on Solution Architect / Engineer who works in an ongoing project concerning DCS-Data-Control Information. For this project, you can work remotely with some onsite Meetings in greater Area of Zurich after the onboarding phase.

Your responsibilities:

• You work in a project to build a solution to get DCS-Information (provided by a supplier) and to process, convert and distribute this solution into different applications and endusers
• Your task will be the compilation of all individual results of different subprojects as well as the integration of these inputs into the architecture concept you have created
• Presentation of the architecture concept in managing boards

Your Profile:

• Engineering degree ETH/FH or a strong aviation background, with relevant IT knowledge
• Knowledge of Java, TIBCO BusinessWorks, SOAP services, REST services, JSON, JavaScript, TypeScript, Middleware (Tomcat), security SSL, SAML, OAuth
• GIS knowledge is a strong plus
• Knowledge of FME transformations, AIXM, GML
• Strong analytical and high organizational skills
• Ability to quickly understand business needs and to take initiatives and decisions
• Sound experience in requirements engineering and testing
• Practical experience with test automation is a strong plus
• Team spirit with strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
• Professional experience in an agile or scaled agile environment preferrable
• Practical knowledge of JIRA, Confluence and Polarion (ALM tool) are a plus
• Experience in Aeronautical Information Management (AIM) or similar domain a plus
• Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written), German is a strong plus
